Hi Ya All,

OK so this is the deal with my next blog. I am going to write about stuff as I am going. so it may turn out entertaining and then it may turn out totally boring. First of all I was thinking about this last Thanksgiving day Holiday. Interestingly enough it was an usual one. The first time in many years where we didn't have a Friends Thanksgiving or a Thanksgiving party of some kind with Friends. I missed that. It's hard to stay connected when we get so busy in our lives. I have such a hard remembering things. I am up before dawn each morning on e-mail even before the sun rises and then come 5pm I am beat. Somehow we must find ways to stay connected to family and Friends. It was a good day. Seeing everyone at Mom Koning and even meeting new family. She's a sweet heart. JD picked a good one.

Oh I was just looking at old pics. You all know that we had to say farewell to our beloved Tory, well we were searching for some pics of him from years earlier and I came upon some great pics of the family. We all look so Young and We were. Funny pics, baby pics, sports pics, friends, Birthdays, holidays and even past Thankgivings. I have to tell you at one point as I was going thru the pics I started to smile and then laugh and smile more. It was a good happy feeling. I will have to remember when I am feeling down for any reason that is the time to looks at your pics. they will make you smile and be Thankful you have amazing beautiful fun family and friends.

This was an amazing holiday. Lot's to give Thanks. Having my son home after 3 long months. At least I only have three weeks, 2 1/2 actually until he comes home for Xmas!! Seeing all the Koning's. The kids are all so grown up. Maybe too much. Makes me feel old. Let's see what else am I thankful for? Oh lots! I have a good job. The family is healthy, no crises at the time. Work is good but challenging. Oh well, MF always likes a good challenge Even though it is way stressful. I am Thankful for so much I just try to thank God as often as I can.

What to write on my blog?....

Hello to my readers,

Interesting thing this blog thing is... What to write. Do I write about my life? Sounds boring..... Would anyone really want to know about me. An interesting society we have these days. People reading about other people via portable technology. I do have to admit I would be crazed without it. Dependent I am.

So the most interesting question becomes "What would we be like without the technology of the computer and the super highway?" Would we have different views of the world. I know you say well we could still watch it on TV. Not necessarily. Not all the information and or processing behind the TV shows etc would exist with out computers, therefore the TV as we know it would have been different. So yes our view of the world and all that's in it would be changed. What else would be different? Would you be different? I know for one I would not have the job I have if there were no computers. My livelihood depends on it. So in essence my existence depends on it. Wow!! I am not sure if I should be happy or sad on that one. Oh well maybe we should just be thankful for what we have and not question the progress of technology.

Hi All,

This is my first blog, Thanks to my beautiful niece Heidi who helped me set up my new "Quixotic" Blog.

I am sure you are asking why "Quixotic". Well Quixotic is a parent name to a couple of small businesses in the works and has been for a few years. I have shared this with some but not all. So today is a first for many of you. The Corporation name to be specific is "Quixotic Designs, Inc." My Best friend and Business partner Theresa and I started the business a few years back and we continue to make efforts to get it off the ground. We have also added an additional Partner Kelli. The business is an Internet retail store selling women's lingerie and personal items. Be assured you will hear more about this business once we are fully up and running. No doubts on that one. Keep an eye on this site for more info.

Anyway to get back to this last weekend. Michael and I had a Big Family and Friends BBQ. It was Great. We had Jerk BBQ chicken and shrimp. It was fun as usual. Lots of people. We can never seem to tailor those guest lists down. We just don't want to leave anyone out. Anyway I want to say a huge public Thanks to Sonja and Heidi for helping me out in such short notice. Also to everyone who brought something to the party. Many Thanks. I hope everyone had a good time. Watch for the next one near the Holidays! Did I really say that out loud? Ick! The Holidays already?

Well to the important stuff. Michael and I always have a fun time cooking together. It makes for good eating too.
